4th of July Parade!

Time: 9:00 am
Place: Bryker Woods Elementary School Drop off area

  • 9:10 am Sing National Anthem
  • 9:15 am Parade Starts

Should take about half an hour. There will be water and refreshments, donuts and watermelon. All are invited and a good time to be had by all. Check out the route… if you can’t make it out for the parade, step out the door and cheer on the kids!

Pease Park Master Plan draft – public feedback sought

At the June 5th meeting the draft Pease Park Master Plan was presented.

Austin Parks and Recreation Department (PARD) is requesting feedback about the draft master plan, PARD requests that you please provide your input by June 27, 2014 so that it may be considered prior to finalizing the master plan. The project area is from 15th Street to 31st Street and includes Pease Park and the associated Shoal Creek Greenbelt along Lamar Boulevard. The Master Plan will provide a long-range vision to guide the further restoration, preservation, and development of this historic green space located in Central Austin.
